SpaceSniffer on Windows 10
The current 64-bit portable SpaceSniffer build supports Windows 10 with no installation process.
Read step-by-step guideTrack down storage-heavy folders with the classic SpaceSniffer treemap view. The current official x64 build stays portable, filter-driven, and fast to scan even while you keep drilling deeper into the drive.
SpaceSniffer maps files and folders into a zoomable treemap. A large rectangle signals a large footprint; it does not automatically mean the file should be deleted. Start by scanning, filtering and verifying the path in Windows Explorer.
Choose a Windows volume and watch the treemap build while the scan proceeds.
Click and zoom into the largest folders to see exactly where space is used.
Use extension, age, size or tag filters, then review each file before any deletion.
Release dated March 25, 2026. Current SpaceSniffer builds are x64 and require ZIP extraction, not a conventional installation wizard. The developer publishes the release archive and checksums on its download pages.
